Amor Bandido comes from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, right across the river from Laredo, Texas.

It's the food I grew up eating at home and on the street. On weekends we'd have carne asada with family and friends, and the grill was always packed with fajita, finger ribs, chorizo, tripas and mollejas. Then there were the taco places, like Tacos de la Aduana, with their smoky brisket and avocado salsa. Nothing fancy, but I loved it.

Over the years I've eaten at more taquerías from Monterrey to Mexico City than I can count, and a lot of what I found shows up on our menu.

My wife Vivian and I started Amor Bandido as a food bike in 2022, and in 2026 it became a trailer. Come find us.
